The Role

We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to help us to enable companies to make better decisions for the long term.

While leading a major division at a Fortune 500 chemicals manufacturing company, our founders developed a systematic approach for turning the managerial playbook of strategy development and execution management into an analytics product. This unified multiple datasets into one platform, allowing hundreds of users to pinpoint the business’s key needs. After years of enhancing business performance with a combination of consulting, data and software skills, they realised they had begun to invent a new product category, the Strategy Operating system. It became clear that the techniques they had developed could be scaled out to dozens of B2B companies and enable them to significantly improve performance by making long-term decisions based on accurate data.

Now one year into this company, we are looking to expand the engineering team by bringing in a business-savvy data engineer to be the third member of the data team.

This role primarily covers building out the core product by integrating new datasets into client workflows, with a focus on identifying the commonalties between different client installations to create a scalable SaaS product. In the short term, we are building on Palantir Foundry to enable us to onboard new clients very quickly by outsourcing security and infrastructure concerns. Once we have achieved a certain level of product maturity, this role will also involve building our own data platform.
